Safety Critical Standards

All SkyZip employees are required to know the following items:  

1.      1. SkyZip will not operate unless the Daily Ride Status Report and Pre-Operative Check are completed and in the proper location.

2.      2. No more than one person may Zip at a time.

3.      3. No loose articles are allowed on the Ziplines.

4.      4. All Guests must be 48” tall, weigh no less than 80 pounds and no more than 270 pounds, be wearing shoes that meet SkyZip requirements 
    and have a signed waiver on file.     (minors must have waivers signed by their parent or legal guardian)

5.      5. All harnesses, helmets, pulleys and carabineers will be physically checked to ensure they are secure and working properly prior to zipping.

6.      6. No unauthorized personnel will be allowed in Safety Critical areas.

7.      7. I will remain alert and attentive by maintaining visual contact with my area of responsibility and I will be drug and alcohol free. 
    Prescribed and over the counter medications must be reported to the Safety Office prior to operating SkyZip.

8.      8. I will follow all prescribed operating and safety procedures. In the event of a deviation of   these procedures, I will correct the situation or 
    shutdown SkyZip and contact
Central Dispatch (#661) and SkyZip Operations. The attraction will not reopen without approval from 
    Central Dispatch and Daily Ride Status Report has been completed and back
in place.
